Notes Marbled papers are worn to all edges. Leather is slightly scuffed and is cracked to both sides of the tail end of the spine for about 2.5 inches. Exposed board to corners. Age toning and foxing to prelims and age toning with very occasional foxing to page margins. Clean. Binding is square and tight.

The old style type faces used add to the impression of an historical text. Half-bound in calf with red leather label to the spine. titles to spine in gilt. Raised bands to spine with gilt motif in the compartments free of titles. Blind stamped borders to spine. Marbled papers to boards. Red to all page edges.
