Description

Hardback. A double signed copy of Janet and Allan Ahlberg’s delightful ‘The Jolly Postman’. A postman’s round takes in visits to many characters from fairy tales and nursery rhymes. The story is told in rhyme and the book is designed with pockets within the pages, as though they are envelopes. Each pocket contains an item of post. Signed and inscribed to the endpaper by both the author Allan Ahlberg (1938-) and the illustrator Janet Ahlberg (1944-1994). All the letters and items such as the birthday card and the two toy pound notes are present. Book and all the charming little posted things are colour illustrated.
