Charming pony story illustrated throughout by Graham Mansford including some double page illustrations. The author’s note says, “Lucy was much prettier than the illustrations but the wretched artist go and see her,” as well as other details about the original Lucy and the writing of the book. Antony Hopkins was best known as a composer, pianist, and conductor as well as a writer and broadcaster on the subject of music. He presented Talking About Music for nearly 40 years on BBC radioftrrt.
