This edition focuses on collecting, with an essay on the art of collecting, and then pieces on Georgian glass, early transport posters, the diamond engraved glass of Laurence Whistler, vintage farm tractors, Victorian gardens, military uniforms and women's fashions, duelling pistols, etc. as well as a poem on Fred Astaire accompanied by a lovely series of photographs of Astaire with a number of different dance partners. There are a series of wood-engravings of bridges by George Mackley. Other illustrations include a series of photographs of Laurence Whistler’s glass, line drawings and vintage adverts etc. In original matching box.
