Hardback. xv, 148pp. First edition. Autobiography of the Scottish writer John McNeillie best known perhaps for writing under his pen name Ian Niall. As Niall he wrote works as diverse as The Poacher's Handbook and for the novel No Resting Place which was filmed in 1951. Also includes four short stories not previously published. With an introduction by his son the poet Andrew McNeillie.
