Hardback. xxxvi, 860pp. Preface by Christopher Brooke. Both volumes have a colour frontis and both have four further selections of colour plates. Attractively bound in a powder blue cloth decoratively illustrated in maroon and gilt to front and spine. Lettered in maroon and gilt; calligraphy by Ged Palmer. Slipcase has colour illustrated paper wrapped round the main faces of the case and maroon paper to the ends.
