Hardback. 56pp. Fairy tale collected by the Brothers Grimm here versified by Frederic B. Saywell and illustrated by Herbert J. Harvey. Colour frontis and 11 further colour illustrations. Illustrations all printed separately and tipped in onto grey paper where they are presented with a colour border, and a caption. No date but gift inscription 1929. Text is attractively printed with a colour border to each page and a black and white vignette of scissors and a grape vine below the text.
