Description
Hardback. Early edition of this work published not long after the Scottish poet’s early death at the age of 28. Half leather binding, with marbled boards. Highly gilt decorated spine with raised bands. Rather nice range of nineteenth century previous owner inscriptions including that of hymn writer Christiana Helene von Poseck of the Plymouth Brethren from her maternal aunt Hepzibah Wilson.
